Desert heat is an amazing Emirati hip hop/rap band; their music is a mixture of Arabic and English lyrics and beats. I liked their album When the Desert Speaks because they maintained their Arabic origins which make them unique and more realistic away from being just another copycat. To me, I think they preach a very interesting message to the youth: that it’s okay to be influenced by the west, but never forget where you come from or what you are.
