Emad Alaeddin
Jordanian musician, Emad Alaeddin, has always had a passion for both music and his heritage.

His songs are a blend of Alice in Chains, Michael Jackson, and the Arabic music he\'d listened to while growing up in Amman. Emad\'s lyrics reflect on the power of love with tunes like “Arabic Girl” and “More than you Know”. He also touches on topics such as the Palestinian issue with his pieces “Never Fall” and “Save the Angels”.

The celebratory “Arabic Girl” is one of the hottest tracks out this Summer 2009 as itʼs on the regular rotation with Play 99.6 and Spin FM.

Emad\'s been nominated for Best Male Vocals in the Los Angeles Music Awards in 2007. He\'s also a two-time award-winning songwriter on Bestoftheyear.com for his songs “More Than You Know” in ʻ07 and “How Does It Feel?” in ʻ08.

Emad currently resides in Jordan and is performing shows throughout Amman at hotspots like Blue Fig and Dubliners to festivals like the Black Iris Festival and Souk Jara Festival.

In 2009, Emad was featured on the cover of OC Magazine and has also been featured in both JO Magazine and NOX Magazine. He\'s made radio performances to the English stations such as BeatFM, PlayFM, Spin, Energy, in addition to the Arabic stations such as Sawt El-Ghad and Amman Net.

Emad\'s Los Angeles band, Avowed will be rocking Amman for the first time ever this July 2009. Their debut album and Emad\'s latest solo work “Arabic Girl” are available at Virgin Megastores in Amman. Proceeds from the CD will benefit The Palestine Legal Aid Fund.

Through his music, Emad hopes to dissolves the negative stereotype that Arabs are coined with throughout the world, and hopes to put Jordan on the map of talented artists worldwide.
